Good god it was only 1995...
I want a Sega Saturn, and not just because of

.
It’s because of Megaman 8. At the oldest I’d be getting a 21 year old console, at the newest a 18 year old console. For North America anyways. Is a Sega Saturn old enough to qualify as

? Anyways I found two on craigslist

I wish I had kept mine. Saturn was a flop console, and I picked mine up from FuncoLand for next to nothing right after everyone realized that. My dad and I played Virtua Cop (with the guns) like it was our job.

I had an original PlayStation instead of a Saturn, but looking back, I really liked all the 90s Sega arcade games so maybe I would’ve had more fun with the Saturn. I did have a DreamCast though and it was awesome.

But no Sega Rally Championship

I had a Saturn and I believe I still have it somewhere. I loved it.
I think Virtua Fighter 2 is the best fighting game ever relative to its time. It took PS years to catch up with VF2 graphically (Tekken 3). I really liked Virtua Cop, Burning Rangers, and Enemy Zero.
I dont know that Saturn will ever be a “classic” and witness any significant appreciation, but it had some great games and you should check it.

Lots of times you can find Saturns hiding in eBay wholesale lots. I was watching a system lot that had one in there and it sold for ~$50 total. You may need to be a little inventive though.
Also Dreamcast is best Sega
And the Japanese release had the best box

I want a Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis so I can point them out to people and say “when I was dead broke, I couldn’t picture this”

Megaman 8? just get the anthology for PS2

But that one has the PS1 version and you can’t fight Duo in that version. But it’s a better deal

Oh i didn’t know that, interesting. But come on, the X1-4 is where it’s at.

But X5 doe

I thought X5 was okay, but not as good as the previous ones. I think X4 is the best. X6 they just jumped the shark, trying to add 3D and stuff in. No bueno.

youll need the requisite 50" screen and a green sofa, preferably Federal Reserve Note green.

I enjoyed my Saturn when I had it. It’s probably still over my friend’s house. That’s where all of my Sega systems ended up, now that I think about it. I had them all (after the master system). Genesis, Sega CD, 32x, Nomad, Saturn, Dreamcast.
As for the Saturn itself, Nights, Panzer Dragoon, and Shining Force III were some of the best games for it. And despite what people used to say, I actually liked the Saturn controller.

Doooo it! The oldest I have is an Intellivision II from 1982. Old consoles are fun!

I still have my Sega Saturn, and the original Need for Speed game. Fired it up to play a few years ago.
